Following a set of server upgrades, our website now supports secure connections with HTTPS!

Currently you are allowed to connect to all pages on the website either with HTTP or HTTPS, but the forums do require HTTPS since you may be entering a password. In the near future, we will require HTTPS on all pages of this website.

All modern web browsers should support HTTPS. If your browser doesn't support HTTPS, you should consider updating your software. According to Wikipedia, "the latest versions of all major web browsers support TLS 1.0, 1.1, and 1.2". More specifically, that article details the following major browsers support TLS 1.2 (the technology behind HTTPS):

  • Chrome 30+ (all versions of Chrome support TLS 1.0, which is also available on this website)
  • Firefox 33+ (all versions support TLS 1.0)
  • IE 11+ (included in Windows 7, and IE 7+ from Windows XP supports TLS 1.0)
  • Opera 12.18+ (5+ supports TLS 1.0)
  • Safari 9+ (included in Mac OS 10.9, and all versions support TLS 1.0)
You should upgrade to one of those browsers, as they are important to meet modern security standards. However, in the meantime, this website does support TLS 1.0, which many older browser versions also support.

I'm just curious... how did you find a computer that doesn't support https? I mean... seriously, my computer is about a decade old and it runs HTTPS just fine.

Okay....um.....

Hate to admit it, but erm, uh, I only have 2 working computers. One of them runs windows 10 and the other one (my always-on for bots and miscellany (wow, I didn't need to use spellcheck for that!) ) runs mac os 10.3
