I've searched, in vain, for a Windows Vista wallpaper scheduler that allows one to select a desktop photo from your hard drive, then choose a future date for it to appear automatically. Example: On a friend or family members birthday, their photo would appear when I boot up my computer on that date.

Or, say on Thanksgiving weekend, I've pre-scheduled holiday themed photos, in a designated folder, to cycle through the desktop at pre-adjusted intervals. The program could continue for several days (that I chose previously) then automatically revert to a default photo or folder until the next pre-schuled date/photo comes up.

Ideally, the program would run at start-up then turn itself off to conserve computer resources.

Thank you for your suggestion. I have notified @LS97, the developer of the Wallpaper Change Scheduler. He should respond within a day or two.

Hi J_Mo,

Thank you for your interest in our programs.
If I understood correctly, you are looking for a feature that allows you to set the schedule for a wallpaper change as a specific date on the calendar.

While I never expected this to be a useful feature (due to the rarity of needing such option), I will be happy to see what I can do to help.

I have added it to my list of updates, and you may expect a definitive response within the next two weeks.
